- Bryce Resort and Country Club,
located in Shenandoah Valley, is home to an
Ed Ault designed and superbly maintained
18-hole championship golf course. Bryce slopes and beginner areas
provide challenges for novice, intermediate, advanced and expert
skiers. Amenities include: snow sports including skiing and tubing, golf, tennis, miniature golf,
horseback riding, dining/lounge, mountain boarding and grass skiing.

- Shenandoah Music Festival
is held on the grounds of the Shrine Mont Camp and Conference Center in Orkney Springs, VA. The
Festival’s main season includes 8 - 10 evening concerts featuring symphonic - both pops and classical - folk, jazz, big band and several
free programs for young people. The concerts are held on five select weekends throughout the summer. The performances feature many
acclaimed regional and national artists.

Virtually every type of outdoor
recreation activity you can imagine is available including:
picnicking, hunting and fishing, shooting ranges, swimming and
boating, and hiking trails.
- Shenandoah National Park and Skyline Drive
lie astride a beautiful section of the Blue Ridge
Mountains. Skyline Drive, a 105-mile road that
winds along the crest of the mountains through the length of the park,
provides vistas of the spectacular landscape to east and west. The park
holds more than 500 miles of trails.
- Shenandoah
Caverns is
one of Virginia's natural wonders. The one-hour tour on level walkways has no stairs to climb and takes you past formations so unusual they were featured in
the National Geographic magazine.
- Luray
Caverns is noted for the variety of formations and natural color. From well-lighted, paved walkways explore cathedral sized rooms with ceilings 10 stories high filled with towering stone columns and crystal-clear pools. Also, hear the
haunting sounds of the world's only Stalacpipe Organ.
- Bryce Take a Hike Group sponsors organized group
hikes twice a month, and the public is welcome and encouraged to participate.
Every 2nd Friday and 4th Tuesday, the group meets at the Basye Post Office
at 8:30 a.m. April through October and at 9:30 a.m. November through March.
Saturday Hikes begin On Saturday, May 5th and will continue every other
Saturday thereafter.
